Bosch Boxberg Classic: 23 – 24 July 2011
2011 – In the summer marking 125 years of the motor car, Robert Bosch GmbH will be celebrating the company's 125 year anniversary and, at the same time, the 150th birthday of its founder, Robert Bosch.
This exciting anniversary year will include the 12th Bosch Boxberg Classic, which will once again provide numerous highlights for participants and spectators alike. On 23rd July 2011, the 160 vehicles will set off from the Bosch location in Karlsruhe. After driving on the historic Solitude racing circuit, which will be fully open for a racing event for the first time in 46 years as part of the Solitude Revival, they will continue via the corporate headquarters of Robert Bosch GmbH at Schillerhöhe in Stuttgart to the Bosch Development Centre in Abstatt. There, the 2011 participants will again be able to enjoy an evening event with wonderful views of the surrounding vineyards. On the second day, the route will take them to the Bosch testing site in Boxberg for the rally's grand finale on the high-speed track.
Entry is open to vehicles of historic value produced before 31st December 1984 and with a full road licence.
The Bosch Classic Division "Automotive Tradition" and the "Bosch Oldtimer Schrauber" (Classic Car Tinkerers)
Club are jointly organizing the "Bosch Boxberg Klassik 2011", which will also be a special experience for
spectators. You can find further information at:
